Any good romance books/movies that DO NOT involve creatures or vampires or anything like that?

I was wondering if there was a romance about two kids that are amazing best friends and they continue being good friends throughout middle school and high school but then they go to different colleges and they don't keep in touch but then one day they bump into each other and fall in love. I just came up with it out of the blue and was really hoping there was a book or a movie about it. Please let me know! I'm on the look out for such an amazing story. I'm hunting it down! Haven't had a good read since Twilight saga and a good movie since (500) Days of Summer.

So last summer i met this boy in summer school... he was taking summer school at my school b/c his school was full. He was going to the school tht i was going to transfer to for soph. year. (we were freshmen during the summer) Anyways, we started talking and then txting and thennn sitting nxt to each other. We wud talk so much in class tht we WUD always get in trouble for talking to much. He didnt like getting me in trouble in class... He wud ditch his friends after class and hangout with me until i got picked up

Anyways, one day after school my mom couldnt pick me up soo he siad why dont we just walk to ur house. I said alright watever i like adventures haha. Anyways we walked fromm school all the way to my house witch is on a hill. He sucked it up and walked me home{: thts wen he confessed his feelings for me! He said tht he really really likes me, ever since the beginning he has, and he wanted to tell me tht he liked me earlier but he didnt want to ruin our friendship (awww) i said tht i'll think about it bcus i've only known him for two weeks!

The weekend following tht we went to go watch eclipse &he hates twilight but he went for me[: he bought me my favorite candy too & i didnt even ask him too. In the middle of the movie he kissed me,automaticallyy shoving his tongue down my throat it was wet, deep, slimy, & hot...it was a bad kiss... so i pushed him off and i laffed. He said wats wrong is it too wierd & i said no! no! i just cant lol (it was my first kiss but he didnt kno tht) after the movie i held his hand.

Thts wen things started getting wierd. We started to become distant. The teacher seperated us and we sat on either side of the room. He started talking to this girl he sat in front of and they wud flirt a lot but she was a jr. He wud still wear my bracelet with my name on it thoo. We weren't talking and hanging out as much as we used too.

One day after class i came up to him and said ayye im ganna walk with u. He was trying to avoid tht situation b/c he said i have to talk to you and said yeah me too. He said tht it wud b better if we just stayed friends but he really wanted to b friends and not it b awkward between us. I said u kno we weren't together rite? He hesitated and said yeahhhh. And then i jus said uhm so can i have my bracelet back. He said yeah i forgot it at home.. he gave it back two days later..

Three days later he asked me to ditch with him and his friends (witch i knew) he said me & u just as friends. i said naah im to cool for you haa he called me lame & tht was the last txt i got from him.

Now i go to his school and we started on sept. 1. On the first day of school we walked by eachother and he stopped immediatly and stared at me walk by, i kept looking straight like i didnt see him.

NOW I MISS HIM AND WE HAVENT TALKED SINCE SUMMER SCHOOL! I WANT HIM BACK IN MY LIFE AS A FRIEND OR MORE.. HE WAS SO NICE TO ME IDK WHY HE ENDED IT THT WAY? AND WHY DOESNT HE TALK TO ME?!

SHUD I TXT HIM SAYING HEY WATS UP OR IF I SEE HIM IN THE HALL SHUD I SAY HEY! U WERE IN SUMMER CLASS WITH ME HOW'VE U BEEN?! OR SHUD I NOT CHASE HIM AND WAIT FOR HIM TO TALK TO ME! BUT WAT IF HE HATES ME OR THINKS I HATE HIM AND DOESNT WANT TO TALK TO ME?! idk IM CONFUSED... HELP...........?

What on EARTH for? Seriously! There's not even enough plot to need 4 1/2 hours of movie split into two parts. That's just lame. Even Return of the King didn't get split into 2 parts. Pssfff...

It's plain STUPID. Honestly. I hope the next Batman movie comes out that same year and kicks its butt off the top movies list. It'll already get creamed by Harry Potter Part 2 next year.
Yeah, I'm going to pray that Batman 3, Avatar 2, and a new Jurassic Park movie all come out the same year the Breaking Dawn ones do so it'll be kicked out of the boxoffice sky high.

What movie was this? It was one of those Tales From the Crypt or Twilight Zone compilations from the '80s.... a woman bought (or was given?) an African doll with a chain around its belly. She was told never to take the chain off, but somehow it came off and the doll came to life... chased her around her apartment until she trapped it in the oven and torched it.

Any idea what this movie was?

I don't know who I'm dating! Kinda long?

Okay.. You guys are probably tired of hearing my relationship problems but I'm finding it incredibly hard to get away from the "asshole." Ha ha.

He's always telling me I never let him sleep or just watch a movie, so I've been doing that. Rereading Breaking Dawn is in progress. Everyday when he gets home I cook, grant it we don't have much, but I cook for him. I cleaned the house, took a shower and "prettied" myself. I made sure all of his work clothes were cleaned and wrinkle free.

So he come home, sits in "his chair" and opens a beer. He puts in Lord of the Rings, the 2nd one, I've only seen a million times, than Sleepy Hollow after that. He asks me to run to the store to get smokes for the both of us and return a movie we rented. I do that, I come back, he's still watching Lord of the Rings and asks me what I've done all day. It should be clear what I've done, the house was a mess considering I'm having to clean up his mess everyday. So I say, "I cleaned and then decided to take a hot bath, I needed to shave my legs." Than that's about it. He puts in Sleepy Hollow, than uses the bathroom down stairs to shave. Continues to drink, lays on the couch and passes out with a lit cigarette in his hand. <That freaks me out, there are a few holes in the sheets on our bed. He then gets up, smokes, and says while I'm reading, "Are you almost done? Haven't you already read that?" I say, "Yes, just having a twilight fit." He gets up and starts walking up stairs and says, "Well hurry up. If I'm asleep when you get up stairs wake me up so I know your holding me." I sit and think about what he just said, that was weird to me. He's an ex fraternity kid, all around macho guy. Tall, dark, and handsome.. what he said seemed a little too much like I need to come cuddle with him. He's not a cuddler. What the hell does that mean? We didn't talk much when he got home, I hadn't talked to him all day, I read and he watched movies + drank. So I go upstairs, I lay down, and hold him from behind. He says hi pony. (we call each other that, weird I know.) I kiss the back of his neck and ask him if I can wake him up. He quickly rolls over on his back and says, "No." I ask why, and he replies, "No pony, I don't want to."

I don't remember the last time we've had sex and no I'm not a sex freak. When I'm with him he never wants to show PDA even if we're in the house. He sits in the chair and I on the couch. We rarely have sex and when he do, he kinda just gets on top, goes, than he's done. Its nothing to gloat about.
But jesus! We've been together for a 8 months. I feel more like his mother and best fiend he can tell anything to rather than a girlfriend. I don't even feel like he's attracted to me. What's wrong with me? I give him his space, I do his chores, and the least I ask for his a little romanticism?! I don't know what the deal is anymore. Anyone have an idea? i thought he wanted space, than he asked me to hurry up so I'd come upstairs. I lay there with him, try to see if I can turn him on, that doesn't work out, so I try just laying there, than he doesn't want me near him?

I'm not a teenager so twilight is a no,nor do i care about what won the latest award show. i want to see something that is original,creative and unique.
